4th Comenius Meeting in Greece
Welcome to Greece!
Greece, March 6th-10th 2013
Wednesday 6th March 2013
- All the delegations met again in Greece.
- The students prepared an official welcome reception for our guests.
- Guest teachers and guest pupils visited all the classes of the 1st Primary School and Kindergarten.
- Then, we held our Comenius meeting.
- We all went to Agios Andreas' beach and to Katakolo where we visited the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology.
- Our Comenius partners met with the Mayor of Pyrgos and exchanged gifts.
- In the afternoon we attended a traditional Greek dance and music show at the Town Hall .
- In the evening we had dinner at a taverna in a village called Leventohori
- In the morning we held our second Comenius Meeting
- We visited the Pyrgos Chamber of Commerce
- We attended the Lighting of the Olympic Flame
- and Traditional Games in the yard of our school.
- We had lunch at Katakolo
- A tour of Pyrgos
- Dinner at a restaurant with live music
- We visited Ancient Olympia and the Archaeological Museum of Olympia
- We had lunch at a nearby village, called Linaria
- We visited the Monastery of Skafidia and Skafidia Beach
- Night out in Pyrgos and farewell dinner
Comenius delagations left Pyrgos early in the morning. Goodbye our dear friends!!!
