All nine countries in our multilateral project were granted funding by the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme in July 2012. The project is based around traditional toys and games.


Comenius projects have 2 main aims:

• to develop knowledge and understanding among young people and education staff of the diversity of European cultures and languages, and the value of this diversity
• to help young people to acquire basic life skills and competences for their personal development, for future employment and for active European citizenship.

Throughout the project staff and children from all partner schools will collaborate on project work and participate in mobilities to each institution.
